Several well-established institutions overseas provide models for what is possible in Australia. Potentially they could serve as links and partners for a tertiary institution in this country based on the educational and social principles developed by Rudolf Steiner. These are Alanus University for the Arts and Social Sciences in Germany and Heliopolis University in Egypt.

What do we do?
Our charitable funds have been created to support the pedagogy of Rudolf Steiner and his vision of social renewal. Tax-deductible donations can be made to the Foundation which is a public ancillary fund managed by the corporate trustee Archeus Social Ltd. We also manage a Scholarship Fund and a Building/Land Fund which can serve Australian Steiner schools and colleges individually by passing on specific donations. Archeus Social Ltd, the Education for Social Renewal Foundation and the two Funds are Australian charities, registered with the ACNC.
Aims of the Foundation
KINDERGARTENS & SCHOOLS
These are our objectives:
● to assist Rudolf Steiner schools financially through our School Building/Land Fund and Scholarship Fund. New kindergartens and schools can be supported immediately because they do not need to set up their own funds - donations to them can be directed through our two funds. ● to use non-specific donations and bequests to help establish new Steiner schools/colleges in the light of Steiner's social vision.
● to advise and otherwise support these educational institutions in the task of understanding the threefold social idea and putting it into practice. To participate in the network we are coordinating, click here.
Schools are advised to seek out potential donors within their community who are interested in their initiative. These donors can then make a specific tax-deductible gift to the school through the Education for Social Renewal Foundation. TERTIARY EDUCATION
As with schools, our aim in relation to tertiary institutions is to support - through our Land/Building and Scholarship funds - those initiatives striving to understand and implement the threefold social impulse. If donations are specific we pass on the whole amount of the donation.
In Australia there is currently no degree-awarding tertiary institution inspired by the educational ideas of Rudolf Steiner, so the establishment of such an institution with a range of faculties remains a key challenge in our time.
